Pilates for Anatomical Alignment

Pilates if done correctly should lend the student to achieve correct anatomical alignment.

The problem is, however, if you cannot understand where an exercise comes from, or how to work a muscle group that is weak.

The student, you, will not achieve correct anatomical alignment.

Pilates is best done one on one to understand where you are not working properly and to access these areas.

If the student works oneself out, you cannot get to these weaknesses.

If you do Pilates by yourself, you are probably not accessing the areas properly, and overworking other areas to compensate.

This is how muscle imbalances are created.

Overworking some parts and under working others.
